The Dracolich is an undead monster that has resulted from an un-natural transformation of a once evil Dragon.
Mysterious cults of different Dragons practice in the magics of this world and the shadow world, often times resulting in these transformations gone awry.
A Dracolich can be created from any evil Dragon subspecies, having the similar body structure of it's former self.
The Dracolich is created from the living Dragons practicing the evil magics.
The main feature of the Dracolich is that though it is easily recognized as once being a powerful Dragon, it's frame is now skeletal, the eyes being nothing more than bright piercings of light.
Dracolichs are fierce fighters even in their new forms.
They claw and bite and can cast dark magic spells that inflict death instantly if hit by one
Dracolichs are most dangerous because of the ability in some of the more powerful ones to be able to cast an "against charm" spell that protects them from certain magics.
If a charm spell is cat on them, they can actually prevent the spell from hitting them and fire off their own spells from it.
The alignment of the Dracolich is of any evil alignment.
They are not good nor do they recognize good from bad, they destroy anything they combat with easily, unless that other something is a Mystic, Silver, Gold or Ice Dragon, or a more powerful Dracolich.
Ice Dragons as well as the Silver Dragons have been called forth by Clerics to help destroy evil Dracolich's who have been summoned to destroy cities or small villages by other evil Dragons |
