Ghouls Lair
Ghouls are undead creatures which exist only to feed off the flesh of corpses.
-----------------------------------------
Ghouls have a terrible cunning about them, even though the transition from human to ghoul warps and distorts their minds.
They are barely recognizable as once being human, usually having little flesh left to their own bodies and they have a horrible stench of decay to them that will alert even the weakest prey to their coming.
---------------------------------------
A Ghouls tongue during the transformation becomes very long and very tough for licking marrow off of bones.
The teeth are razor sharp and elongated and their nails become more like claws, growing very long and very sharp.
---------------------------------------------
Ghouls can be found in graveyards mostly, digging through dirt until they can find some form of a corpse that has not yet rotted away.
They have an alignment of Chaotic Evil and can be fierce if confronted.
They are
not Zombies.
Ghouls can be turned by Priests or Wizards for the good if gotten to in time.
The Lacedon is a marine form of a Ghoul.
The lacedons are just as deadly only that they cannot live outside of water.
They normally can be found haunting and feasting near wrecked ships or aboard ghost ships.
The lacedons are rare because there is less chance of finding corpses under water that are easily gotten too, but they can also be found in lakes, rivers and even some oceans.
----------------------------------------------------
Ghouls can roam on any land anywhere.
They do not often return to their own gravesite as it is considered dangerous for them to do so.
Killing a ghoul is not as easy as it would first appear, but it can be done.
It is best to let professional Clerics preform that task
