Mr Bones is my given name...to you my friend it's all the same...Muahahahahahahaha THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
-------------------------------------------
1999 was a pretty good year...and with it came a few good movies.
Directed by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez,
The Blair Witch project was clear full of suspense and even your mainstream horror.

Three filmakers go on a camping trip in search of the mysterious legendary "Blair Witch".
The actors prtrayed the parts so well, it became rather difficult to tell that they weren't the actual filmakers who had supposedly vansihed in the woods.
Supposedly the Blair Witch had been killing since the early 1800's, and the movie really tapped into that fear.
To say the least it was unnerving.

This is one of those movies that if you want the full-on experience, you should see it in the movie theatres, not sit around and wait for it on video.
This movie has the suspense and edge of the seat sitting, nail biting effects that every good horror movie fan wants to see.

Filmed on a very low budget, one would think that Blair Witch would flop out, but that wasn't the case at al.
In fact it doubled the impact of what the critics said would be "just another horror movie on a low budget".
I guess they are eating those words now eh folks?
This one is a must see
BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA
--------------------------------------------------
Anyone who has seen a Francis Ford Coppola film would rarely think of him as directing something like a Dracula movie.
But not only did he direct it, he kicked ass while doing it.
This movie was probrably one of the best Vampire films to come along in the 90's.

The worst part of this movie is Keanu Reeves.
His "British" accent leaves me wishing I had something burning in the oven.
But Anthony Hopkins comes along and makes up for Reeves lack of a Jonathan Harker accent pretty fast.
The movie has nothing but good points once past that.

Gary Oldman does a fairly good job at portraying Dracula in this movie.
Since the character of Dracula in this partcular movie was based off of the infamous Vald the Impaler, the movie stuck to the storyline and just exploded from there.
Oldman did his best in the Bram Stoker genre of who Dracula really was.

Although I felt that Anthony Hopkins had well flown past Peter Cushing when he played the role of Dr. Van Helsing, and he actually made this movie.
I did not feel that Gary Oldman held a candle, (even a burned out one) to Christopher Lee when he portrayed the count all those many years ago.
Winona Ryder also plays in this version and does a fairly good job at being Dracula's love interest.
But again I must say, this was an excellent movie despite the fact Reeves couldn't keep his accent up to par, and Oldman did get a little sluggish on his accent towards the end as well.
Still..I say see this movie if you want a knock down drag out good Dracula movie, this is the one to see..
