The Ghostmaster of Old was just as deadly and just as brutal as the one of today......or was he.....
GHOST SHIP
------------------------------------
Ok, yes you might have already guessed this one.
The ship is haunted.
But what exactly is haunting this mysterious ship?
Let's see, the movie first begins with some of the most graphic and unimaginable freak accidents possible.
A luxury liner sailing right along in 1962 suddenly vanishes from memory as well as radar.

Now suddenly you are sailed rapidly 40 years forward where a crusty old captain (played by Gabriel Byrne) is told of this vessel sailing empty and aimlessly out to sea.
He and his crew take the word of the pilot who spotted the ship and decide to go in search of it, hoping to salvage anything that might be on it.

What they find floating along with no particular place to go is of course the ship from the opening of the movie, which is now of course VERY haunted.
One of the best parts of this movie is the dance hall scene where everything comes to life (such as it were). It had all the earmarkings of another great movie from long ago, "The Shining".

So what is haunting this ship?
Well you may take special notice to the fact that when members of the tugboat crew die, their blood seems to be sucked up or absorbed by the ship.
Other salvagers who had found the haunted ship also turn up dead...very dead.
Director Steve Beck did an outstanding job at making sure the viewer knew that a big boat, especially an empty one is very scary.
This ship loomed out at the viewer and grabbed them right into the movie.

Scary Dog gave this movie an 8, but I give it a 10.
It was just a damn good movie.
Have I seen you before.....If so that explains alot.....hahahahahahaha, Muahahahahahahahahaha
GRAVEYARD SHIFT
---------------------------------------
This movie stars Silvio Oliviero as a cab driver who also just so happens to be a vampire.
This movie is NOT the one by Stephen King, and this one is NOT as good as King's.
This movie centers on the late night cabbie/vampire roaming the city killing victims he already knows are on the verge of dying anyhow.
Scary Dog did not even rate this movie which tells me that it was either too boring, too lame or possibly just that weak in the entertainment department.
He recommends you avoid it
