| VIDEODROME ------------------------------ Directed by David Cronenberg, this movie starred James Woods (Vampires) and Deborah Harry (Blondie). It's overall theme was about snuff films. James Woods plays a television producer who accidentally comes across an s&m station which he has never seen or heard of before. As he begins to investigate where and who is operating the network, he begins to have outlandish and very gory hallucinations, causing him to believe he may have gotten some sort of brain damage produced by the station's signal. He ends up killing who he thinks is a political leader by shooting him with a handgun which is somehow grafted to his hand. Deborah Harry fans (guys) will want to watch this just to see her in a sexy s&m moment that has something to do with ear piercing. The film focused on her rock stardom because she and Woods get it on in the movie pretty hot and heavy like after a concert. Outside of the fact James Woods plays in this, and Cronenberg directed it, it's not all that good of a movie |

| VAMPIRE'S KISS -------------------------------- This was a damn good Vampire movie. The title could throw you if you werent really paying attention, but over all you cant beat this movie. It stars Nicholas Cage (Leaving Las Vegas) and Maria Conchita Alonzo. Cage plays a New York City yuppie dude who suspects he may have been bitten by a vampire (Jennifer Beals) Being uncertain of his fate, he begins to harrass an office worker (Alonso) who does not take kindly to his sadistic advances Although some said this movie was released as a comedy, it really wasnt a comedy movie. It had the basic gore and it had the hilarious parts to match the gore. Nothing in this movie was too over the top and for the most part, the masses who saw it, actually liked it quite a bit. |
